Broadway URC is one of very few churches in the area to have a four-part choir that sings regulalry during services.
The choir meets regulalry on Friday evenings each week for rehearsal and is always keen to welcome potential new members. Music is not only prepared for services but also for major festivals, when more substantial works may be sung, sometimes augmented by friends from other churches. In recent years, these have included performances of Fauré's Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine and Stainer's "The Crucifixion", as well as traditional anthems by Elgar, Mozart, Stanford, Tallis, Wesley, etc, and music by more modern composers.
A particular highlight of the church's year is the annual Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols by candlelight on the Sunday afternoon before Christmas, which follows the traditional pattern established by King's College Cambridge.
